The I.C. “San Giorgio” has joined, as partner, the Erasmus+ ka2 Project “Literally EUnited!” during the school years 2020-2022 (31st August 2023 because of the pandemics) and has reached all the goals we had planned at the beginning of the Project.

Different objectives and results were expected which implied the use of writing, reading, speaking skills necessary to improve key competences, literacy development in order to fight early school leaving and favour social inclusion. We aimed at directing these activities at ALL our students. Some attended short term exchanges,others online activities,  or performances, exhibitions, workshops.

1.LOGO CONTEXT

A competition was held from October to December to find a logo for the project. The students were invited to present their productions and in each school a vote was taken to choose 3 logos from the set. So, a vote this time involving all the partners was organized on twinspace via tricider so that the whole educational community could choose the winner, knowing that we could not vote for a logo for our school. The winner was a French student.

1. Students have discovered environment issues and been invited to step into action ( eg: collecting waste, saving water systems, create vegetable gardens in schools....)

5. Preparation of Learning Teaching Activity 2 :

After reading about the partners' authors and zorks, students created collaborative scenes on the theme of literature for the travelling and local students to perform during the mobility in Poland.

4. MATHEMATICS LITERACY

Activities on Mathematics Literacy.

1. Mathematic activities in class : Students discovered about important mathematicians and discoveries and practise maths in a fun way: each school was independent to organize them according to their practical possibilities, and shared the results on twinspace.
2. Mathematics challenges and games have been created by students on twinspace to play together in a collaborative way. Maths as art has been practised too.

Schools Esafety Campaigns

We launched a collaborative awareness campaign to celebrate Safe Internet Day and shared the results on twinspace.
